RELG 4000 - Seminar in Religion

Hours: 4
This course is designed to give students an opportunity to study, in a deep and sustained way, some particular topic in religious studies that is of interest to them. As students move through the quarter, they will gain greater knowledge of that topic, greater expertise as writers and researchers, and will be provided with opportunities to present their work in a public setting. Students will leave the course with a highly polished piece of writing and a greater facility with the craft of academic work.
Notes: This course is required for Philosophy Majors, though it is open to non-majors with permission of the instructor.
