EDUC 230 - TECHNOLOGY AND EARLY CHILDHOOD

Hours: 3
Course will focus on content and methods for teaching with computers and related technologies in the early childhood classroom. Included will be evaluation of children’s software, technology for communication and recordkeeping in early childhood programs, and issues and standards related to young children and technology. Twenty-five clock hours of clinical experience are included.
Prerequisites: EDUC 160 or permission of the instructor.
Notes: Teacher candidates must receive a grade of C or better. For Early Childhood licensure.
