Students will interpret peer-reviewed published models and develop novel model systems to perform experiments. Emphasizes the use of object oriented thinking to highlight important system mechanics, and multidisciplinary thought in computer science, ecology, epidemiology, and other areas. A writing intensive capstone project produces publication-quality material. No prior experience with computer modeling is needed.
