NURS 7859 - Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Practicum II

Hours: 3
Opportunities to apply cognitive and psychomotor nurse anesthesia skills to patients with highly specialized problems and conditions across anesthesia/surgical specializations during the perioperative setting. The student creates anesthesia plans for all phases of anesthesia based on findings from patient history and physical examination. Emphasis is placed upon the provision of safe, effective and culturally sensitive nurse anesthesia care in patients across the lifespan.
Prerequisites: admission to the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
