NURS 7746 - Advanced Principles of Nurse Anesthesia I

Hours: 4
In-depth advanced practice nurse anesthesia knowledge and skills involving patients with highly specialized problems and conditions across anesthesia specializations. Concepts include history and physical findings as well as basic and advanced anesthesia techniques for specialty surgical procedures involving patients with highly specialized problems and conditions. Delivery of culturally sensitive, interdisciplinary, safe and effective nurse anesthesia care across the lifespan is emphasized.
Prerequisites: admission to the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
