NURS 7838 - Nurse Anesthesia Laboratory Practicum

Hours: 1
Initial experiential application of the basic knowledge and skills for entry into advanced practice nurse anesthesia. Topics include the presentation of history and physical findings and implications for anesthesia plans of care as well as the use of anesthesia equipment and techniques, collaborative decision making, and effective communication in the planning, delivery and evaluation of safe, effective and culturally sensitive care across the life span.
Prerequisites: admission to the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
