NURS 7550 - Advanced Practicum and the Family Nurse Practitioner Role

Hours: 5
Focuses on concepts, values and principles which the nurse practitioner role is based. Competencies of advanced nursing practice, principles of primary health care, community health promotion and evidence-based practice are integrated into a clinical practice model. Analyzes and personalizes the advanced practice nursing role towards a successful transition to practice.
Prerequisites: NURS 6540 with a minimum grade of B-.
