MUSC 3050 - Advanced Electro-Acoustic Music

Hours: 2
Advanced techniques and applications of electro-acoustic music practices. Topics include continued audio and MIDI recording/sequencing techniques, introductions to sound synthesis, algorithmic composition, and interactive computer music and motion graphics and their application with fixed media and interactive techniques. Culminates with a recital of fixed media and interactive projects.
Prerequisites: MUSC 2050 with a grade of C or better, or permission of instructor.
