FYS 1072 - Fake News and Political Conspiracy Theories: Critical Thinking Strategies to Unmask the Truth

This course focuses on discussing campus, community, and national problems. Students develop position papers justifying a problem area worthy of research and debate and then choose an area to focus on researching and debating for the semester. Students also critique in class debates and write justifications explaining who made the better arguments.
