HIST 4370 - Dissent in Early America

Hours: 4
This course examines the many traditions and forms of dissent in the early days of the American past. Whether it was ideals of Puritanism, organized mob action, or regional political revolts, dissent was a constant and significant part of early American life. We will explore how these traditions helped define the early American intellectual, cultural, and political landscape.
