Early Childhood 4-5 Generalist Strand (15 hrs)

Middle Childhood 4-6 Generalist Strand (12-15 hrs)

Choose the 2 sets of courses that match the 2 content areas in which you are seeking licensure.

Professional Development Strand (at least 9 hrs required)

In the Professional Development Strand, students make a thoughtful selection of at least 9 hours of electives, guided by the advisor, in order to increase expertise in a particular area or to facilitate professional growth. Selections must be formally reported by the advisor to the Office of the Registrar before credit toward program completion is granted. Electives may be chosen from other graduate courses not required in the Curriculum and Instruction major.

TESOL Endorsement Strand (9 hrs)

Minimum GPA

An overall GPA of 3.0 must be achieved.

Application for Degree

A prospective graduate must complete an Application for Degree at the Office of the Registrar one term prior to the term in which the degree is to be completed.
