I. Course Requirements (30 hrs)

Note: A minimum grade of B must be achieved in ALL courses.

A. Core (all courses required)

MSAH 5000 - Research Design 3 hrs
MSAH 5050 - Allied Health Care Administration 3 hrs
MSAH 5220 - Evidenced-Based Practice/Informatics I 3 hrs
MSAH 5230 - Leadership and Advocacy in Policy and Healthcare Organization 3 hrs
MSAH 5300 - Program Planning and Evaluation 3 hrs

B. Advanced Practice Content (all courses required)

Note: Other elective options may be possible upon consultation with your academic advisor. Have the Department Chair notify the Registrar in writing of any options selected.
MBA 6000 - Managing in Organizations 3 hrs
MBA 6200 - Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations 3 hrs
MSAH 5910 - U.S. Health Care Policy 3 hrs

C. Capstone (select either option; repeated twice for 6 hrs)

MSAH 6900 - Advanced Clinical Practicum 6 hrs (two 3 hr courses)
MSAH 7000 - Master’s Thesis 6 hrs (two 3 hr courses)

II. Minimum GPA

An overall GPA of 3.0 must be achieved.

III. Application for Degree

A prospective graduate must complete an Application for Degree at the Registrar’s Office two terms prior to the term in which the degree is to be completed.
