EDUC 611 - Principles and Application of Instruction

Hours: 3
This is a course regarding theoretical and practical methodology designed to prepare instructional leaders. The course focuses on models of teaching, recent research on theories of learning, and the application of these models and the research. The importance of transforming theory into practice in order to improve teacher effectiveness is central to the course. Students complete a teacher work sample within this course.

Notes:
Field-related experience required; practicing teachers may complete field experience within their own P-12 classroom.
