EDUC 385 - INTEGRATED LANGUAGE ARTS SEMINAR

Hours: 2
A study of secondary school language arts teaching methods, student assessment and curriculum planning. Includes development of a knowledge of the Ohio Academic Content Standards with a focus on reading, writing, literature and speaking for the secondary student.  Students will take this course in conjunction with EDUC 375, Integrated Language Arts Field Experience which includes 100 clock hours of field experience in the language arts classroom.
Notes: Teacher candidates must achieve a grade of C or better.
