EDUC 6660 - Research-Based Reading and Writing 4-12

Hours: 3
Study of theory and science of reading research that informs the literacy skills and processes of transitioning and advanced readers. Specific focus on systematic and explicit instruction; reading and writing to learn; literacy for students from diverse cultural, linguistic, and developmental backgrounds; and the role of technology in literacy instruction.

Requires 25 hours of tutoring at the 4-12th grade level.
