EDUC 6000 - Foundations of Democratic Education

An exploration of the ongoing formation of democratic education. Starting with the philosophical foundations of democratic education, the course will examine its historical development, contemporary challenges, and recent reform efforts. Special emphasis is placed on issues of equity, diversity, and social justice.
