INST 2215 - Introduction to Judaism - Writing Intensive

Hours: 3
Introduction to academic study of Judaism using multiple disciplinary approaches. Topics may include the stories of the ancient Israelites that come to us in the form of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, the role of ancient Near Eastern literature in the origins and development of early Jewish monotheisms, the “historicity” of Israel, contemporary issues in the land of Israel-Palestine, and the complexities of modern world Judaisms.
