NURS 7726 - Basic Principles of Nurse Anesthesia I

Hours: 4
Provides foundational knowledge and skills for entry into advanced practice nurse anesthesia. Concepts include history and physical examination, essential anesthesia techniques, basic monitoring, basic and specialized equipment, and basic anesthesia interventions to deliver safe, effective and culturally sensitive care across the life span for healthy patients.
Prerequisites: admission to the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
