MATH 6300 - Comprehensive Exam

Hours: 0
A comprehensive three-hour written examination will administered, with items from each of the three program components (Mathematical Processes, Mathematics from a Modern Viewpoint, and Comparative Studies in Mathematics). Questions will be representative of the candidate’s curricular choices and written by the candidate’s instructors. Prerequisites: Completion of 6 hrs in Mathematical Processes, 15 hrs in Mathematics from a Modern Viewpoint, and 6 hrs in Comparative Studies in Mathematics.

Graded Pass/Fail.
