EDUC 3351 - Methods of Teaming and Collaboration for Learners with Moderate to Intensive Disabilities

Teacher education candidates use collaborative strategies for teaching modified curricula to students with moderate to intensive disabilities. Topics include teaching functional academics and pre-vocational skills, use of assistive technology, collaboration with professionals, paraprofessionals, families and agencies, and transition planning.
Prerequisites: EDUC 2510 or EDUC 2520, and current qualifying BCI/FBI background checks must be on file with the Education Department.
Notes: Requires 30 clock hours of field experience.
