Concentrations (choose one)

WGSS majors must declare a three-course concentration in the subject of their choosing. The concentration is designed to encourage coherent inquiry into an issue, period, field, discipline, thematic, critical problem, or research question in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Students may choose from a list of standard options for the concentration (see below) or design one of their own with the approval of the WGSS director. The courses that are identified with established concentrations are to be understood as likely and possible contributions to these concentrations, not a fixed slate of choices. A student can make the case to the WGSS director for any WGSS-affiliated course to satisfy an existing or self-designed concentration area.
