Requirements in the Core Curriculum for the Business, Accounting and Economics Department:

Integrative Studies - 50 hrs
Foreign Language - 10 hrs for B.A. or 15 hrs for B.S.
Mathematics - 5 hrs for B.A. or 15 hrs for B.S.
Health and Physical Education Lifestyle Series - 3 hrs
Senior Year Experience - hrs depend upon course selected

Required for the B.A. degree only:
- MATH 260 - DECISION MAKING FOR BUSINESS
An internship is highly recommended.
When pursuing an internship, it is recommended to take:
- BADM 380 - TRANSITION TO THE WORK FORCE

One of the following options is also required:

Business elective area

20 hours from outside the Core. May select from any of the courses listed under the Finance, International Business, Management, and Marketing concentrations. At least 15 of these hours, however, must be from BADM courses.

Other selections may include:

Experimental ACCT/BADM/ECON courses

Finance concentration

Notes

At least four courses required
A minor in Accounting or Economics is highly recommended.
If BADM 450 is selected as part of core, it cannot count towards concentration.

International Business concentration

Notes

At least four courses required
Three or four more terms of foreign language are recommended.
If BADM 470 is selected as part of core, it cannot count towards concentration.

Management concentration

At least four courses required

Marketing concentration

Notes

At least four courses required.
A minor in Psychology or Public Relations is recommended.
When pursuing an internship, it is recommended to take:

Required total hours for the degree:

Application for Degree:

A prospective graduate must request an Application for Degree at the Registrar’s Office two terms prior to the term in which the degree is to be completed.
