NURS 671 - Fundamentals of Nurse Anesthesia Practice


 

Introduces students to basic concepts necessary to plan and execute safe individualized anesthetics. Topics include preoperative patient evaluation, interpretation of laboratory and diagnostic tests, positioning the patient for anesthesia and surgery, and basic principles of induction, maintenance and emergence from general anesthesia. Includes laboratory experiences.
