EDUC 522 - Advanced Pedagogical Content Knowledge: Mathematics

Hours: 3
The purpose of this course is to introduce integral components of the intermediate mathematics curriculum. While the focus is on mathematical content, teaching methods including the use of multiple representations and technology will be underscored throughout the quarter. The major thrust of the course will be development of the real number system and arithmetic operations, measurement, probability, data analysis, and geometry. Prerequisites Early Childhood License or Permission of Instructor
