MSAT 5200 - Orthopedic Assessment I

Common mechanisms and pathologies of injuries and conditions to the lower and upper extremities including the head and neck areas. Development of the necessary psychomotor skills required for an evidence-based evaluation and injury assessment of common injuries will be an integral part of course content. Current best practices in the evaluation and management of concussion. Clinical skills associated with the didactic learning that is being taught in the classroom.
Prerequisites: MSAT 5100.
