EDUC 3351 - Methods of Teaming and Collaboration for Learners with Moderate to Intensive Disabilities

Hours: 3
Teacher education candidates use collaborative strategies for teaching modified curricula to students with moderate to intensive disabilities. Topics include teaching functional academics and pre-vocational skills, use of assistive technology, collaboration with professionals, paraprofessionals, families and agencies, and transition planning.
Prerequisites: EDUC 2510 or 2520, and current qualifying BCI/FBI background checks must be on file with the Education Department.
Notes: Requires 30 clock hours of field experience.
