INST 2418 - Mind the Gap: Anthrozoology Across the Pond

Hours: 3
Includes travel to London and several other sites within England. Provides interdisciplinary study of human (anthro) and animal (zoo) interactions. Students will visit museums, art galleries, and locations of cultural importance to focus on the history of humananimal interactions and conservation efforts. Students will examine current and historical interactions and uses of companion animals, working animals, sporting animals, food animals, research animals, zoo animals, and wildlife species.
