JAPN 1100 - Elementary Japanese II

The second semester of an introduction to the Japanese language and culture. Continuing to learn the foundations of Japanese, with the goal of achieving an intermediate level of proficiency. Partner and group work, readings, films, internet exploration, online exercises and modules, and brief writing assignments are used to deepen competency with reading, writing, speaking, and listening as well as to increase knowledge of culture, history, andpolitics.
Prerequisites: JAPN 1000.
