ATHT 1000 - Introduction to Allied Health Professions

This course is an introduction to the professional fields that fall under the allied health umbrella. Examples of Allied Health professions include physical therapy, athletic training and occupational therapy. This course is designed to expose first year students interested in pursuing degrees in Athletic Training or Allied Health to issues and conditions that are representative of health care in the 21st century. These will include exposure to evaluation schemes, injury documentation, and other special topics.
