PSYC 2310 - Child and Adolescent Development

Hours: 4
This course is an examination of human development during the early years of life, including prenatal development, birth, infancy, childhood, and adolescence. Emphasis is placed on how humans grow and change physically, emotionally and cognitively; the influence of biological, psychological, and social factors on early development are considered. Examples of topics addressed in this course include learning, attachment, language, sex roles, and parenting.  Majors my take either this class or PSYC 2000 but not both for credit towards the major.
