ATHT 2600 - Advanced Athletic Training Lower Extremity

Hours: 3
This course will explore mechanisms and pathologies of common injuries and conditions to the entire lower extremity including the low back and thorax areas. Evaluation, injury assessment and management techniques of common injuries to the lower extremity will be an integral part of course content. The student will also learn the necessary clinical skills associated with the didactic learning that is being taught in the classroom. Cardinal Experiences: Professional Development.
Prerequisites: ATHT 1000, 1600, 1700, BIO 1810 and 1820. Corequisites: ATHT 2500.
Notes: Open to Athletic Training majors only.  Offered in Fall. This course has an additional fee.
