BIO 3420 - Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy

Hours: 4
This course will examine vertebrate structure in an evolutionary framework and will facilitate an understanding of how these structures function within living animals. We will discuss structure and function of the following organ systems and compare these systems among vertebrates: integument, skeletal, muscular, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, urogenital, endocrine, and nervous systems.
Prerequisites: BIO 2020 with a minimum grade of C-.
Notes: Offered alternate years.
