MUSC 3050 - Advanced Electro-Acoustic Music

Hours: 2
Advanced techniques and applications of electro-acoustic music practices. Topics include audio and MIDI recording/sequencing techniques as continued from MUSC 2050; introductions to sound synthesis, algorithmic composition, interactive computer music and motion graphics and their application with fixed media and interactive techniques. The course will culminate with a recital of fixed media and interactive class projects.
Prerequisites: MUSC 2050 with a grade of C or better, or permission of the instructor.
