MUSC 3021 - Conducting II: Choral

Hours: 2
A continuation of conducting techniques, utilizing choral literature. The course will focus on advanced score issues such as asymmetrical meters, mixed meter, tempo fluctuation, and rapidly changing dynamics and styles. Issues of score study will also be addressed, including reading choral/orchestral scores, score preparation, and analysis.
Prerequisites: MUSC 3020 with a grade of C or better.
