EDUC 5470 - MAT: Internship in Special Education

Hours: 3
Graduate teacher education candidates participate in a full time placement in a diverse school setting to focus on assessment of learner characteristics and specialized instructional practices. Candidates study responsive school practices and they observe, co-teach and provide specialized instruction. They will reflect upon their practice and gather evidence of legal and ethical practice, effective planning and instruction, and reflective practice. A minimum 50 hour field placement is required. Prerequisites: EDUC 5351
